An attempt at stashbusting left me with this gorgeous, if slightly short, braided Rapunzel scarf.

More Christmas FOs. For my aunt (Ahee=aunt in Mandarin) who, if you've been following this blog, wrote me a HUGE list the moment she found out I could knit. These slippers took forever because I had to keep making them, measuring against her feel, frogging, reknitting, measuring, frogging etc. I actually knit them up in about 10 minutes. But as it was, it took about 5 months.
Anyway, they're really warm and comfy, fuzzi felt was a great yarn to use. (Plus, it was half price.)

I'm not modelling them as I don't want to stretch them out of shape. Ahee has feet 2 sizes smaller than mine.....
Pattern: Ridiculously Easy Mary-Jane Slippers by paperandglue @ Craftster
Yarn: R2 Fuzzi Felt (yummm....)
Check out the cute red fishy buttons!

I'm ill at home - AGAIN! - and what better to do than project posts? Here's three...
I frogged the boobholder because I was running out of yarn (booo!) and made a neckwarmer (and half a hat) instead.

Pattern: Lovebite from woolgathered.com
Yarn: some variagated pink & purple wool which I got in a swap <3 it was delicious!
Mods: LOTS. I used bulky yarn, for a start, and different buttonhole method.
Pattern notes: This was a very erratic and badly-written pattern, at least in my opinion. The design itself was really cute, but I had to practically re-write the instructions! I also made her Basic Hat pattern with the same yarn, which did NOT turn out like it is in the picture, so I am rewriting that as well.

Pretty pink lacey scarf for my godmother's sister, Tory.

Pattern: Airy Scarf from Last Minute Knitted Gifts
Yarn: Rowan Kidsilk Haze
Modifications: None, but I would make it MUCH longer in the future. As you can see, it's really short, and blocking wasn't much help in the length depatment.

Red cabled hat for my godmother Emily.

Pretty good for my first cables, hey?
Pattern: Basic Cable // Stitch 'n Bitch Nation
Yarn: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran.
Modifications: Added a few more rounds of ribbing.

I have decided that the solution to my wrists is simply
not to knit anything for anyone else but myself ever again. Apart from maybe swaps, because I <3 my fellow craftsters. Woo!
Got sent this in a swap:

Isn't it delish? Pink, violet and dalk purple. Scrumdiddlyumptious! I got two balls; the first has been used to start....

I'm actually over halfway through. Doesn't look like it, though.
